For my 6th artefact I decided to make improvements on the feedback I received for artefact 5.

For this artefact I looked more into reactions. The sound clip is taken from the recent disneyland adverts.

Animation is coming together

I’m really pleased with how this is looking so far, it’s really coming together nicely. There are plenty improvements I could make but with my rig as terrible as it is, it’s so hard to animate!!

Wow I’ve blogged a lot today!

More development, going to alter the eye expressions next and decide on camera angles and work out which bits need to be improved and which bits are cut out of shot etc.

More Progress with Animation

This time I’ve done around 1 minute of the animation, plenty to go back and improve but I have the basic movements and am able to see which areas are in need of improvement.

Animation Progress…. Starting to add movement to the Character

Here is the progress I have made with my character animation so far. My rigging is so terrible that it makes moving my character extremely difficult! But I’m getting there and hopefully it won’t look too bad once it’s finished. Looking at the lip syncing now the body is moving I will probably have to alter some of that as well. I’ve rendered out a minute but have only actually worked on the first 20 seconds so the last bit he’s standing in the same position.

First Stages of Animation… Lip Syncing!

I have been working on the lip syncing for my character before adding any other types of animation. Here is a video of the first stages of animation. I will probably end up working on the lip syncing a bit more at a later date but for now I think it looks fine. Now I will start working on the body movements and the facial expressions of my character in order to bring him to life.
